North Queensland have made it clear - we want reliable and affordable power in North Queensland. Building a clean coal power plant at Collinsville will tick all the boxes.
The Morrison Liberal National Government has stumped up $10 million to get all the pre-construction work done for a new clean coal-fired power station in North Queensland. The project will create 2,000 jobs during construction, over 600 jobs during operation and deliver cheaper power prices in the North.
Yet the Labor candidate says this will do nothing for Dawson. She sure does hate coal!
